The ocean is such a fun topic to learn about with kids. A little more than a year ago I did a comprehensive Ocean Unit with my kids. More recently, I decided to create an Ocean I Spy game to add to my collection of ocean printables.
I Spy games are great for working on visual discrimination, counting, and learning the names of various ocean animals.
Note: For more ocean printables and lots of ocean-themed activities, see my Ocean Unit Study page.
There are three different versions of my Ocean I Spy printables included in the download, with three different levels of difficulty. In this way, you can tailor the activity to your child’s level. This is also great when you have children of different ages who want to do the same activity.
Playing Ocean I Spy is easy. Simply print the page, and then invite your children to find the animals that are listed.
Your child can play by him or herself. Or two people can work together to find and count all the ocean animals.
However you decide to play, I hope you enjoy!
