Purpose

My primary aim at Gift of Curiosity is to provide parents, caregivers, and teachers with ideas for sparking their children’s creativity and learning. To accomplish this goal, I share activities my kids and I have done together, I offer printable materials, and I highlight great products that are likely to be of interest to my readers.

My secondary aim is to generate enough income to cover my expenses (e.g., blog hosting services, clip art) and provide a modest income. For these reasons, I accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.  I may also sell my own educational products.

Integrity

Integrity is important to me. Clicking on any of the advertisements or links, or buying any of the recommended products, will NOT cost you any additional money due to my affiliate membership. Instead, I simply receive a small commission – thank you!! Please be assured that while I may make money from this site, I have not and will not do so in a way that disadvantages you as a buyer. I will also not recommend products in my posts that I have not personally used or researched sufficiently to believe they would benefit my readers.

Gift of Curiosity is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Gift of Curiosity abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. If the compensation received could influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog, that content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

From time to time I may be compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though I may receive compensation for posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The privacy of Gift of Curiosity’s visitors is extremely important to me. This section outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by Gift of Curiosity (www.giftofcuriosity.com) and how it is used. Gift of Curiosity does not sell your personal information – I don’t like it when my personal information is sold, and I would never sell your personal information either.

Personal information: When you order a printable, we collect your name and email address to provide electronic delivery of the materials you ordered and follow up on your order. If you leave a comment, we collect your email address (and optionally your website address) to respond to your comment if needed. If you enter a giveaway, we ask for your name and email address so we can notify you if you are the winner. When you subscriber to our newsletter, we collect your email address in order to be able to send email to you with activity ideas and notifications about new printables.

Log files: Like many other websites, Gift of Curiosity makes use of log files. Within a log file the following information can be found: internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. None of this information would allow us to personally identify you. Instead, information in the log files is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement around the site, and gather demographic information to better serve our readers.

Cookies: Gift of Curiosity uses cookies to store information about visitors’ preferences, record user-specific information about which pages the user accesses or visits, and customize webpage content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

Some of our advertising partners may use cookies on our site. Our advertising partners include (but are not necessarily limited to): AdThrive, Amazon.com, and Google AdSense.
