I recently updated my 4th of July Printables Pack, and it is now the biggest printable pack I have created to date!

I am looking forward to sharing the activities in this pack with my kids as the holiday draws a bit nearer.

In the meantime, I am making it available for my readers who would love to engage their kids in some patriotic learning activities in honor of America’s Independence Day.

Note: For more 4th of July printables and other activities, see my 4th of July activities page.

I love the 4th of July holiday. Growing up, my family spent many summers at a friend’s cabin celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks by the lake.  Two years ago, my husband and I carried on the tradition of watching fireworks by the lake with our kids.

QBoy thought the fireworks were loud, but he mostly enjoyed them. XGirl, on the other hand, spent most of the fireworks show like this:

Sorry for the blurry photo!

The noise and lights were all just too much for her. Two years later she still has no interest in fireworks shows, so this year we will be at home enjoying a more low key celebration for Independence Day. 🙂

Part of that celebration will be learning about the reason behind the holiday. And of course, doing some of the activities in my 4th of July Printable Pack!

What’s in the 4th of July Printables Pack?

My 4th of July Printables Pack contains 87 patriotic worksheets and activities for kids ages 2 to 7. This pack is a great way for kids to practice basic skills while also preparing for the 4th of July holiday.

The activities in this pack cover a range of skills, including:

  • shapes and sizes
  • colors
  • same vs. different
  • patterning
  • puzzles
  • fine motor
  • mazes
  • math (number identification, counting, addition, subtraction)
  • literacy (letter identification, alphabetical order, phonemic awareness, word searches)

Here is a sneak peak at the activities included in this pack:

Oh I need this. The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. We have lived in Germany since my youngest was 2 1/2. I was hoping to teach her about the 4th of July last year during our trip to Michigan. Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled due to her Leukemia and we were in the hospital. (She’s doing quite well now.)

Anyway, in the hospital I asked her what colors were in the American Flag and she answered black, red and yellow. Oh……. she was so confused. Thank you for reminding me the 4th is coming fast and we need to make some flags.
