In the northern hemisphere, winter season lasts from late December through late March. Winter is characterized by colder temperatures and fewer hours of daylight. For many people, winter conjures up images of dressing up in warm winter clothes, playing outside in the snow, and enjoying warm cups of hot chocolate.
Our family is fortunate to live in a very temperate climate. This means that we don’t get any snowfall where we live, although after a cold spell we may see snow in the mountains that surround us. My kids have only experienced snow a couple of times while on vacation. But we don’t let our good weather prevent us from having some winter fun!
On this page I am sharing all of the winter activities for kids and winter printables that have been featured at Gift of Curiosity.
