Ever since my kids and I did an Arctic unit study a couple of years ago, I’ve been really fascinated by life in the frigid Arctic region at the northernmost part of our planet.

I personally am always cold, and therefore have an aversion to temperatures below 60 degrees. (So thank goodness I live in California!)

My tendency to feel cold, however, causes me to marvel at the adaptations Arctic animals have developed to survive – and even thrive! – in the frigid temperatures of the Arctic.

I know that a lot students in both homeschools and traditional schools complete an Arctic unit in the early years. That’s why I’m so thrilled to announce the release of my Arctic Animals Printables Pack, because I know it will be a great resource for so many teachers, parents, and caregivers.

Note: For more Arctic printables, see my Polar Animals and Lands Unit Study page or grab my Arctic Unit Study.

What’s in the Arctic Animals Printables Pack?

My Arctic Animals Printables Pack contains 76 Arctic-themed worksheets and activities for kids ages 2 to 7. This pack is a great way for kids to practice basic skills while also learning the names of common Arctic animals like the polar bear, orca, walrus, seal, Arctic hare, narwhal, snowy owl, puffin, musk ox, beluga whale, Arctic fox, and caribou.

The activities in this pack cover a range of skills, including:

  • shapes and sizes
  • colors
  • same vs. different
  • patterning
  • puzzles
  • fine motor
  • mazes
  • math (number identification, counting, addition, subtraction)
  • literacy (letter identification, alphabetical order, phonemic awareness, word searches)

Here is a sneak peak at the 76 activities included in this download:
