I have seen a number of bug activities for kids shared at the Kids’ Co-op in recent weeks. I guess with the weather warming up, people have been getting outside and learning all about bugs! Our family has done a number of insect units focusing on ants, butterflies, silkworms, and ladybugs. We have loved learning about bugs! In fact, my son has been asking me for a bee unit study, so at some point I’ll have to make that happen too.

If you would like to learn about bugs with your kids, check out the 10 bug-themed ideas below that include bug activities, crafts, songs, books, sensory play, and more!
