Raise your hand if you are currently – or have ever been – the parent, teacher, or caregiver of a young child who is obsessed with cars, trucks, diggers, planes, or trains.
(*raises hand*)
My son went through HUGE a train phase when he was little. My daughter never quite shared her brother’s obsession with trains but did own a Percy train car at one point (from Thomas the Train) and enjoyed playing with her brother’s train tracks.
I recognize that there are many toddlers and young children who love cars, trucks, trains, planes, boats, and other modes of transportation. And I had these kids in mind when I developed my latest printable: a Transportation Toys Toddler Skills Pack.

This Transportation Toys Toddler Skills Pack is geared toward children ages 1-3, and it features a variety of print-and-play activities that include:
- do-a-dot pages
- coloring pages
- size sorting activities
- color sorting activities
- find the shapes activities
- puzzles
- fine motor activities
- patterns practice
- sorting by quantity
- understanding quantities up to 5
- understanding more or less
Toddlers love completing do-a-dot pages with dot markers or stickers.

And coloring pages are always a hit.

There are also activities to get your toddler sorting by color and size.

Toddlers will practice identifying shapes and putting together puzzles.

Toddlers can work on their fine motor skills and their ability to recognize patterns.

And there are several activities to get toddlers thinking about number quantities in concrete ways.
