One of my goals is for my children to have an understanding of the different systems of the human body and how various organs work together to carry out specific functions, such as digestion, circulation, movement, etc.

My Montessori-inspired Human Body Systems Book is a simple, no-frills resource with basic information about each of the body systems for kids. It has just the info you want your kids to know without any extra bells and whistles.

Note: You’ll find more resources for learning about the human body on my Human Body Unit Study page.

HUMAN BODY SYSTEMS BOOK: This printable, Montessori-style book about the systems of the human body features 12 different systems (skeletal system, muscular system, circulatory system, etc.). This book is designed to be super easy to assemble, and it has just the right amount of information to give kids a brief introduction to the key components of each system. #humanbody #printables #giftofcuriosity #montessori || Gift of Curiosity

The Human Body Systems Book features an illustration and description of 12 different systems of the human body:

  • Circulatory system
  • Digestive system
  • Endocrine system
  • Lymphatic system
  • Muscular system
  • Nervous system
  • Respiratory system
  • Skeletal system
  • Urinary system
  • Integumentary system
  • Male reproductive system*
  • Female reproductive system*

* If you do not wish to discuss the reproductive systems with your children, you can simply leave these pages out when you print the book.

The book is designed to provide straight-forward, basic facts about each system. Nothing fancy. No fillers. Just the info you want your child to have about the human body.

Below you can get a sneak peak at some pages in the book:

I know how time consuming it can be to print and assemble online resources, so this book is designed to be very easy to put together, with virtually no cutting involved.

Just print, fold, and then bind the book with the material of your choice.

I hope your children will enjoy these resources, as I created them specifically for helping mid- to late-elementary age students learn about the human body.

Oh, and this book pairs perfectly with my Human Body Systems 3-Part Cards and my Label the Parts of the Body System printable.

I recommend using these printables in conjunction with the Anatomy Models Bundle from Learning Resources. This will allow children to get more in-depth knowledge of their bodies in a hands-on manner.
