Today I’m sharing a fun and artistic way to decorate eggs for Easter: glitter eggs!
Making glitter eggs supports creativity and fine motor skills. And you’ve never seen eggs sparkle like this before!
Note: For more Easter fun, see my Easter activities for Kids page.
To make glitter eggs, you will need the following:
- Hard boiled eggs
- Glue
- Small paint brush
- Glitter in several different colors
- Optional: Tray or covering to contain the mess
I put a tiny bit of glue into a container and offered it to my children along with a small paint brush.
They painted circles and stripes on the eggs with the glue.
Then they sprinkled glitter all over the part of the egg that had wet glue on it.
Once the wet glue was covered in glitter, they painted another circle or stripe with glue in order to add a different color glitter.
The kids were quite proud of their sparkly glitter eggs.
Will you try this for Easter this year?
