My kids and I have been learning about farms, so I decided to create a Farm Printables Pack to go along with our unit study.
I hope your kids enjoy this pack as much as mine did!
Note: For more kid-friendly farm activities and printables, see my Life on the Farm Unit Study page.
What’s in the Farm Printables Pack?
My Farm Printables Pack contains 75 farm animal-themed worksheets and activities for kids ages 2 to 7. This pack is a great way for kids to practice basic skills while also learning the names of common farm animals including cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, and more.
The activities in this pack cover a range of skills, including:
- shapes and sizes
- colors
- same vs. different
- patterning
- puzzles
- fine motor
- mazes
- math (number identification, counting, addition, subtraction)
- literacy (letter identification, alphabetical order, phonemic awareness, word searches)
Here is a sneak peak at the 75 activities included in this download:
My kids used many pages from this pack during our farm unit. Because I want to be able to reuse the worksheets, the kids did most of them using our Crayola Dry Erase Activity Center.
And without further ado, here are a few highlights of the work the kids did using this Farm Printables Pack! Working on fine motor skills. . .
Matching farm animals and their shadows. . .
Working on basic math skills using a dice and this animal race activity. . .
Patterning practice. . .
Identifying which picture is different from the others. . .
Working on one-to-one correspondence and animal matching. . .

I like these series you run where you break down each part of what you have done with and taught the kids. My brother has a small farm and we went the other day. Brady had a BLAST. Thanks for sharing your work!
Katie
Thanks Stephanie! And I’m glad Brady enjoyed visiting your brother’s farm.

Hi, This is a great pack! My sons are 4 and 1,5 and they both love farms. I am sure we will have lots of fun with these activities. Even their 8-year-old sister will have a few activities to join the club:-)
PS. I will post about this on my blog. I hope you don’t mind.
Katie
Yes, I welcome people to share my posts on their blog, so long as proper credit is given to Gift of Curiosity, including a link back. I also allow people to share up to 1 image per post, again assuming proper credit and a link back are included. Hope your kids enjoy the Farm Pack!

Great Printable! FYI though…I downloaded it and then when i try and open it it says the file is damaged and can’t be fixed…I can only print if i’ve opened the link in pdf form from your site and print “live” from there…
Katie
I can’t say for sure, but most likely you are seeing the file on your desktop while it is downloading but not yet fully downloaded. It will look like you can click on it and open it, but you’ll get an error. If you wait until the file is completely downloaded – which could take a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection – then you should be able to open it from your desktop. (I have made this same mistake myself many times :-)) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the printable!

Awesome pack; I’m having same issue as someone who posted earlier; it tells me the file is corrupted. Any ideas?
Katie
My best guess is that you are seeing the file on your desktop during the download process and are trying to open it. However, you can see the file on your desktop before it has downloaded completely, so if you try to open it before the download has finished, you will get an error message. If you wait until the download has completed – and the pack is quite large so it may take several minutes – you should be able to open it without getting an error. I’ve made this same mistake myself several times! I hope this helps!

Thanks for linking this fab post to Tuesday Tots and for sharing your free farm printable. I’ve featured it this week on Learn with Play at home 🙂

Hi Kiri – My best guess is that you are seeing a sort of “ghost” file on your desktop right away even though the file hasn’t fully downloaded yet. If you click on the “ghost” file before it has fully downloaded, you will get an error message. If you wait a few minutes until it has finished downloading, it should open without any problem. The pack has so many activities so the file size is quite large – it may take several minutes to download fully. Please let me know if this doesn’t solve the problem and I’ll see what I can do to help.
kiri
Katie, thank you again….Well no “ghost” would have made me not to have your packet!!!!
I got your file !!!! In greece we have a late summer…so me and my twin
