Today I’m excited to release the newest printable in my Easter printables collection – my Easter coloring pages!
There’s something so simple yet so gratifying about simple coloring pages. As a child I used to love coloring pages. I remember when our local grocery stores used to hold coloring contests. On at least two occasions I entered coloring contests and won!
I don’t think the stores in our area still hold coloring contests like the ones I used to enter. Nonetheless, there’s something timeless about coloring pages that kids seem to enjoy.
Note: You’ll fine more kid-friendly Easter ideas on my Easter Activities for Kids pages.
What coloring instrument do your kids enjoy using? My kids still use crayons from time to time, but they prefer markers. Fortunately, they are now old enough (and mostly trustworthy enough, ahem XGirl) to use markers responsibly. At some point I hope they’ll graduate to colored pencils, which are better for shading and adding dimension to artwork.
My Easter coloring pages features six different Easter-themed images. Here is a look at the pages included in this download:

My kids love coloring with anything that makes a big mess! So here that means oil pastels or markers!

🙂 We haven’t tried oil pastels yet, but markers are definitely popular in our home!
