A lot of times, the anticipation of an event is just as fun as the event itself. And the advent season in December – where children anxiously await the arrival of Christmas – is particularly exciting.
This year, you can make the advent season extra special with my Christmas Countdown Coloring Cards.

To get started with this low-prep activity, simply print off a set of the Christmas Countdown Coloring Cards.
Each day, color a new number as you count down the days. Then write a holiday activity to do as a family on the back. (A list of ideas is included with the download.)
Then, hang the cards on a string or wall. These will make a nice Christmas decoration as the month goes by.
