Living in California, summer means it’s time to hit the beach!
We love to dip our toes in the sand, visit the tide pools, collect shells on the beach, and look out for ocean animals.
In the past I’ve shared a number of awesome ocean-themed learning ideas for young children. My Ocean Toddler Skills Pack is now one more resource your children can use to enjoy learning with an ocean twist.
Note: For more awesome ocean printables your kids will love, see my Ocean Unit Study page.
This Ocean Toddler Skills Pack is geared toward children ages 1-3, and it features a variety of print-and-play activities that include:
- do-a-dot pages
- coloring pages

Toddlers love completing do-a-dot pages with dot markers or stickers.
And coloring pages are always a hit.
There are also activities to get your toddler sorting by color and size.
Toddlers will practice identifying shapes and putting together puzzles.
Toddlers can work on their fine motor skills and their ability to recognize patterns.
