Today I’ve got a brand new ocean printable to share with you: my Ocean Animals Roll & Cover Math Games!
This fun and colorful ocean-themed math printable will help children practice number recognition, simple addition, and simple subtraction.
Note: For more awesome ocean printables your kids will love, see my Ocean Unit Study page.

To play my Ocean Animals Roll & Cover Math Games, print off the game board you prefer.
In the picture below, I printed off the version that uses just one die to help kids with number recognition. (We use these numbered dice, but you could also use a die with dots.)

To play, kids begin by rolling the die.
Then they place a small object – such as small tiles, buttons, coins, candies, etc. – to cover the number that was rolled.
They keep rolling the die until they have covered all the numbers on the playing board.
In addition to the playing board that works on number recognition, there is also a board that uses two dice to help children practice basic addition with addends 1 to 6 (giving sums 2 to 12).

And the third playing board uses two dice to help children practice basic subtraction with differences between 0 and 5.

All three versions come with both a colored background for good looks and a white background for saving on printer ink.
