Every year our family heads out to a local organic u-pick apple orchard.
One year I wasn’t paying close enough attention and my kids picked so many apples that before I knew it our family had collected more than $90 worth of apples. Yikes!
But even when we don’t go quite so crazy, we always have so many apples that I get inspired to find some new recipes I can prepare to use our apples up.
With that in mind, I’ve collected a number of kid-friendly apple treats you can whip up this fall to enjoy the season’s apple harvest.
Note: For more apple activities, see my Apple Unit Study page.
The collection of apple recipes below include both healthy and not-so-healthy treats. If you have food allergies, be sure to read the recipes carefully to see which ones have allergens you need to avoid.
