As a former first grade teacher, I truly appreciate that you took the time to explain the separate skills involved including naming the letters, knowing their sounds and writing the letters. It’s important for parents to understand that singing the ABC song is only the first step in learning letters. I will be sharing this with my childcare families and my assistants.
