Has warm weather hit your area yet?

We’ve been going back and forth between cooler temperatures (high 60s) and really hot temperatures (low 90s) over the last few weeks.

On those really warm days, it feels like summer has arrived and it’s time to hit the beach!

So between our warm weather and our family’s recent visit to the really amazing Monterey Bay Aquarium, I thought it was time to update my ocean do-a-dot printables with some new activities for kids ages 2-6.

Note: For more do-a-dot printables, see my do-a-dot printables page. Plus, see my post sharing 15+ ideas for using do-a-dot printables for learning.

Ocean Do-a-Dot Printables - 28 pages of ocean do-a-dot worksheets to help kids work on shapes, colors, patterns, letters, and numbers #DoADot || Gift of Curiosity

My Ocean Do-a-Dot Printables pack contains 28 pages of ocean do-a-dot worksheets featuring clams, crabs, fish, jellyfish, octopuses, sea stars, sea turtles, and whales. As kids complete these worksheets, they will work on one-to-one correspondence, shapes, colors, patterning, letters, and numbers.

The activities in my Ocean Do-a-Dot Printables pack are designed to be completed using do-a-dot markers.

Do-a-dot markers are especially good for young children who have not yet developed the fine motor skills to use a pencil or crayon. By using do-a-dot markers, even little ones can color in pictures, hunt for items in a worksheet, and express themselves creatively at a younger age than is possible for them if they are required to hold a pencil or crayon.

That being said, do-a-dot markers are not just for little kids. Indeed, kids of all ages will enjoy using do-a-dot markers.

However, you do not need to own do-a-dot markers to enjoy my Ocean do-a-dot worksheets. I’ve written in this post about many other ways to use do-a-dot printables to support your children’s learning. So even if you don’t own do-a-dot markers, I’m sure you’ll find that these printables can still be of value to you and your children.

Here is a sneak peak at the activities included in my Ocean Do-a-Dot Printables pack:

The activities in this pack cover a range of skills. This means that the worksheets in this pack are likely to appeal to toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students. I hope you find something in this pack that your children will enjoy!

What a wonderful printable, thank you katie!! One suggestion to develop children imagination, you could create a page with printable sea items. The children would cut out them and create their own world with their own story 😉

Thank you SO much for this awesome free resource. We are using them while rowing Jenny’s Surprise Summer (a Before Five in a Row book). My 3 yr. old son loves them so much that he did 5 in a row on the first day (no pun intended! Lol).
