Free printable First Day of School signs

Aaugh! I can’t believe the summer is more than half over already! My kids start school again in just three weeks. We moved homes this summer and I still feel like everything is in disarray. I really wanted to finish unpacking boxes and getting all furniture in place before the school year starts, but I don’t know how likely that is at this point.

Nonetheless, whether I am ready or not the start of the school year is approaching. Today I’m offering some free printable First Day of School signs you can use to take pictures of your child that capture how they look at the beginning of the new school year.

I have created a total of 18 different signs. This means whether your child is starting any grade from pre-school through college, you should find a sign you can use in the collection I’ve created. I’ve even included a “First Day of Transitional Kindergarten” sign for those fall birthday kids in California who get an extra year of schooling to help them get ready for kindergarten.

Here are the pictures I took of my kids last school year on their first day. I adjusted this sign just a tiny bit to create the printable available to you.

And now I better go print my own versions to get ready for my kids starting 1st grade and kindergarten in a few weeks!
