If you’ve spent much time on Gift of Curiosity, you may have already noticed that I’m a fan of do-a-dot activities. I have created a number of do-a-dot printables over time, and today I’m thrilled to release my Easter Do-a-Dot printables for toddlers and preschoolers.
My Easter do-a-dot printables are an easy way to sneak a little fun and learning into your child’s routine from now until Easter.
Note: This and other Easter ideas can be found on my Easter activities for kids page. And for more do-a-dot printables, see my do-a-dot printables page. Plus, see my post sharing 15+ ideas for using do-a-dot printables for learning.
The activities in my Easter Do-a-Dot Printables pack are designed to be completed using do-a-dot markers.
Do-a-dot markers are especially good for young children who have not yet developed the fine motor skills to use a pencil or crayon. By using do-a-dot markers, even little ones can color in pictures, hunt for items in a worksheet, and express themselves creatively at a younger age than is possible for them if they are required to hold a pencil or crayon.
But do-a-dot markers are not just for little kids! Kids of all ages will enjoy using do-a-dot markers. From experience I can tell you that my kids get much more excited about doing worksheets with do-a-dot markers than with regular pencils or crayons. I think there’s a uniqueness factor to do-a-dot markers that just makes them more fun than using pencils or crayons.
However, even if you don’t have do-a-dot markers, there are still plenty of ways your children can enjoy my Easter do-a-dot printables using dot stickers, pom poms, buttons, or even just crayons.
My Easter Do-a-Dot pack contains 21 pages of Easter do-a-dot worksheets. As kids complete these worksheets, they will work on one-to-one correspondence, patterning, shapes, colors, counting, numbers, and letters.
Below is a sneak peak at the 21 pages included in this download:
As a general rule of thumb, the activities in this pack are most likely to appeal to kids ages 2-5, although it is possible that some older kids will enjoy them as well. I hope you find something in this pack that your children will enjoy!
